TIARA

Tiara, (age 15) knows all too well what life is like living without hope. She suffered from depression and had a very poor self-esteem. Several months ago following a horrific family tragedy, she attempted to take her life. Fortunately, she lived and has learned from the incident that “there is nothing more important than life.” Surrounded by loved ones and through participation in the EmpowerMe™ Teen series (a LIINC training program) she reinforced her self-worth, conquered her fears, and began pursuing her dreams as a fashion designer, launching 100% UNIQUE™. In August, 2007 Tiara competed in a pageant for teen girls through NAMISS and walked away a state finalist. We are all very proud of her.
